Has anyone managed to get an APRC with overseas salary/wages earned as a freelancer (Gold Card holder)?

  1. What are the challenges faced?
  2. What documents do I need to prepare?
  3. Is there an interview with the NIA officers?
  4. What questions do you need to answer from the NIA officers?

I did things differently. But I know a lot.

  1. The instability of freelancing.
  2. That you report and pay your income taxes.

I did. It was fine.

I don’t know what that means. It was fine.

I used my itemized income tax certificate from the tax office.

I didn’t have one.

Whatever they ask. I don’t remember anything out of the ordinary.

Yes I did but from a standard ARC one, not gold card.

  1. create a llc company
  2. after 3 years reach revenue goals to renew ARC/VISA, last 2 years reach revenue goals to apply for APRC
  3. Need to physically stay no less than 6 months a year for 5 years.
  4. Need to show income taxe declaration based on minimum 60k NTD (the last year).
  5. Crime record clean and you good, no question asked, beside at immigration tax declaration center who ask stupid questions.
