Help regarding company tax filing

Hey everyone, successfully started my company, thanks to this forum. So now I need some more information.

I have started the company since April this year. So I heard that I need to submit the Bi Monthly Tax filing.

  1. What’s the timeline for the bi monthly tax filings?

  2. How to submit the filing online and what documents I would need for this?

TIA

Mabe hire accountant… just a thot

Don’t you have an accountant? I didn’t think you could open a company as a foreigner without one.

For March-April the VAT business tax filing deadline was May 15th. For May- June it’s July 15th.

@Bree

What we did, start with accountant and move the function in house as it gives you experience what doc’s you need to keep. As other mention the bi monthly report is due 15 days after the period ends. generally you need keep all invoices (if needed offiical ones) and expenses, many of them are maybe paper copies which you need keep in case they do a check/audit. Our tax office staff is also helpful, the office girl that does it for our company calls them sometimes with questions.

Since you only have one day left, I would ask ChatGPT Agent, Claude Cowork, or OpenClaw to control your desktop/line/phone and do it for you. My Taiwan CPA’s deadline for handing them all the documents was 10 days ago.

And the tax office folks are super helpful if you’ve made mistakes, are late, etc. (And mistakes will definitely happen with AI doing it, lol!)

By the 15th on every odd month.

Most of the government software doesn’t support English operating systems and do not contain the necessary fonts. I do mine by hand at the tax office.

Do you ever have anything sensible to say?

Not impossible but extremely difficult without.

I would not.

well only needed one for the capital verification, nothing else

Thanks a lot

Thanks for the detailed explanation. One more thing, if I do mine by hand at the tax office what documents should I bring with me?

well I don’t think that is a wise thing to do

So do you submit it through software or by hand. Well the tax office sounds much helpful tbh.

Bring your fapiaos that you’ve issued.

Bring your fapiaos that you’ve received.

Bring your stamps. Tax ID card too.

And then fill out the 401 form, Fapiao list form, etc…

I’ve done mine for years by hand, but I had my CPA do it for me the first few times for a fee. Since I am consistent, I managed to learn from previous filings.
