Many ASUS routers for example support 4G USB dongles (with SIM), or even USB connected Android phones. I used both ways before, was good for me (CHT 4G unlimited data from my work)
I may try to get a SIM from GT Life. Even though I speak some basic Chinese I am always afraid of the process of explaining what I need, and the hassle and paperwork involved. But, since this is unlimited and without a contract, I do not see any downside. I mean, do they just take your credit card and deduct a monthly fee and you can walk in to cancel any time?
Coverage you mean on my home-WiFi? I have two Openwrt boxes and connectivity is excellent all over my house. PCs are all wired. It is just that everything slows down to a crawl in the evening or on the weekend.
I went to the APTG shop and they say the 388 unlimited plan without subscription is not sold there. They say I need to request that online and they cannot assist. Would anybody be able to guide me on where to click on the website? Whatever I click, I end up with something that says 24期.
Edit: I am going to suppose that this offer is no longer valid. It looks like they do not have anything with less than 12months. That sucks.
I do not think that plan is available anymore. The link on the website leads nowhere.
I was a little direct with the lady. I asked her 不是因為妳覺得麻煩嗎. I also asked for her name card. She insisted they only sell contracts in shops and I can ask anywhere.
If you click that link it says the product cannot be found. Then you cannot find that plan anywhere else on their website. I will try to give them a call.
I called them. They say they do not have anything that is not 24 months right now. I insisted this is still on their website. They asked for the link. They asked to call me back.
When they called back they told me if you look at the fine-print on that website, that offer runs until February 2019.
Any alternatives without a contract and decent Unlimited Mbps?
no no. It’s an actual rule at Tstar. I had the rule taken down at GT.
Threatening Tstar won’t do shit because they will robotically tell you this is the rule over and and over and over. You don’t threaten, you actually go and take action. GT will cave. Tstar is far more racist. And I don’t have the time and energy to do that again lately cause…I work full time.
Taking a day off means I lose salary. Try several days. I already laid the foundations at GT
Not sure if same as you are talking about, but our home Wi-Fi is just a GT Mobile unlimited sim for $299 per month in an LTE router. Never had any complaints from GT.
