The Chinese Taipei Hockey League is actively recruiting new players for the upcoming season. A great league with tons of potential, the CIHL has been in operation for two previous seasons and we are all excited about the move to the brand new, state of the art Taipei Arena (Dunhua & Nan Jing). The season itself will start in early November and run until May, but ice times are available now. Evaluation sessions will begin in Mid-october. Don’t have enough gear? Patchworks of equipment are available for the short term. We have players from Taipei, Chiayi and Taichung (bus services are available for players travelling from the south to Taipei). Tropical temperatures are no reason to miss out on the sport you love! Write for details.

I’m a goalie and I’d love to play.
I’ve got no gear here and haven’t been actively playing for a few years, but a few months ago, before I came back here, I was still able to do 100 km roller blade trips, so I’m not in terrible shape.
What are the hours, typically?
Join the line, there are already about 7 goalies.

Can you play out?
It’s been a l-o-n-g while since I did that. Was a pretty mean rightwinger in peewee. Am still a good defenseman in floor hockey.
Play out now??? I’d give it a shot.
Probably take me a while just to get used to the skates again. I’d look a fool, methinks. Be fun to try though.
