Uncle Buck has to be one of the greatest films ever made, but Home Alone is very close. The acting in superb and the editing and cinematography is awe inspiring. These movies are classics of American film making.

Actually, I think John Candy made some very funny movies but didn’t get enough credit as an actor. Some of my favorite Candy films:
Planes, Trains and Automobiles; Little Shop Of Horrors; Summer Rental and Uncle Buck.
Candy also used to be wonderful on SCTV.
