It seems that the only English newspaper in Taiwan that gives even close to honest restaurant reviews is the Taipei Times. Is it because they have very little advertising and can thus afford to tell the truth? Then again, the amount of advertising in the China Post and the Taiwan News has been falling over the past few years and yet they continue to pump out PR camoflaged as reviews. Help! Where, besides forumosa.com and, to a degree, Taipei Times, can I get the lowdown on Taipei’s restaurants?
