I feel like Taiwan’s service runs the whole gamut… I went to a place yesterday, filled in one of those paper menus… Nobody was there. After 5 minutes a guy wearing pajamas emerges, takes a look at the menu then buggers off again. He did bugger off to cook my food which i found out when he reemerged with my fried rice but at first i didn’t know that!
Actually i quite like those places with non verbal communication. Feels pretty local, not for the noobs.

Yes, quite different taste. Wonder can buy it in Taiwan? (CX has wifi !)
Don’t think so, it’s a special beer made exclusively for Cathay by gweilo beer. Even in HK not easy to find, only a few park n shop (mostly the fancier ones, so like food le parc, international and fusion) have it

The CX logo on the can gives a hint of its dedicated purpose.
Nice to see that Cathay Pacific, despite its many unfortunately changes in the past years, has retained some sense of pride.

Yes, but gweilo beers t all quite pricey already. If I remember well a small can was around 25-30 HKD at the super market
