Hostels, B&B's, bikes and dogs

So once the weather warms up a little I’m seriously tempted to get a bike trailer for my (smallish) dog and maybe build up to doing an overnight trip for the first time in my life. The goal is to cycle to Hualien, or at least in that direction, with my dog in a trailer, then come back.

I know there are (apparently) bike friendly hostels and B&Bs out there, and in increasing numbers if the articles I’ve read are true. But how about ones that are friendly to both bikes and dogs?

I have never come across a BNB or hotel that didn’t take my bike indoors or inside their gated/locked area.
So, just target those that allow dogs, cuz they’ll allow bikes by default.
