What China is doing right now to foreigners:
Maybe we’re like dhimmi, and can avoid the tax by converting to Daoism or Buddhism.
If I stink, it’s because I’m building up my immunity by avoiding baths.
A couple of ifs, on account of I’m getting powerful confused reading this thread (I ain’t knocking you guys, really I ain’t, but, daaaang!):

I don’t know whether there are other laws/rules along those lines. I’m not even sure whether the law/rules linked immediately above can actually benefit foreigners who are discriminated against.

One more thing, regarding getting into ahem contests with locals, even if you’re dead right and they’re dead wrong:
They seemed updated policy, not sure ID is Police requirement? Anyways for me, it does not matter, I would not go here even before all this news.
They see the TikTok stuff from China. I do not understand how they can follow the advice given from any Chinese media at all, regarding policies or medication. Older generation was told to hold China as better, smarter. Blues distrust anything the Taiwan government says. If they engaged a little brain, they would question the advice given by an unknown «head of Xxx university in China or Yyy hospital in China» but no. Everyone starts circulating/sharing the nonsense…
