C’mon dude, grow up.

Sex friends are not taboo in the West. The whole point of share house living (not to mention mixed dormitory life when backpacking or attending uni) is, for many, the oft available sex. And Aunt Martha!!! Really Divea . Few of my young western friends live with their parents let alone aunties, so I cannot possibly imagine a circumstance where one would introduce a ‘fuck buddy’ to an aunt. Jesus literally . I haven’t had the chance (or desire) to introduce a long term girlfriend to my parents for more than a decade. And I’m not young anymore so GOD knows what the youth are up to these days . . .

I have roughly 100 Taiwanese as friends on Facebook and 2 of them are publicly in open relationships, on Facebook, (both between 20-30). I know at least three more who are not public about having fuck buddies.

So in my world they are out there. It’s just not considered healthy and normal as it is back in Aus, although it will still earn you some respect here, on the quiet, among the more liberal minded.

My point was, no one talks about FWB’s, do they?? So what’s it about being Taboo?? And forgive me, but I don’t get it, really. You are either friends or are fusing the day lights out of each other. How do you do both?? Maybe I have unattractive friends. But that’s another thread I guess.

FWB invariably turn into more then just friends or they break up.

I see some FWB’s off and on. It’s nice to catch up, have a good meal, and then have a bit of fun if the mood calls for it before we part ways.
