I am so sick and tired of auto playing sounds or videos on many Taiwanese websites… I go in and then it plays some crap music or video and I get surprised.
Is there any way to disable sound in my browser except when I am watching youtube videos?
If you are using Firefox or Chrome, there are some add-on to do this kind of job.
For example, on Firefox, I am using flashblock.

I am using safari
Far too many Taiwanese websites break the basic principles of good web design. Auto-playing music is one of the more egregious violations.
Turn off your speakers! For Youtube … switch them back on!
