How do I say "sexual lubricant" in Chinese?

Hi,

This is a bit embarassing but I need to know this.

If my friend (cough cough) wanted some advice on going to a 藥妝店 to buy the above mentioned product what would he ask for? A professional term would be better than going in saying 我想要買做愛的潤滑劑.

chinese characters are better than pinyin please.

Thanks

I just pantomime.

There’s only one kind of lubricant in the kind of stores that sell it

General term: 润滑剂 run4hua2ji4 “lubricant” (generally)

You might see/say/hear: 润滑液 or 潤滑油 run4hua2ye4 or run4hua2you2
You should check to make sure a particular product will be okay with latex if you care.

足够的润滑是很重要的,但是在橡胶类避孕套上只限用水性的润滑剂。
Adequate lubrication is important, but use only water-based lubricants on latex condoms.

Thanks

Don’t most 7-11s stock it right next to the condoms?

Just what I was going to say. Likewise any Watsons or similar. No need to ask for it.

EDIT - Another reason for just going to the pharmacy: I just remembered, a few years back, going to one of those “specialist” stores with the GF and asking for the product in question. The girl at the checkout takes a look at me, nods sagely and says, “ah, yes, of course foreigner men are bigger, no need to be embarrassed about it, I think you’re going to need this one [brings out the industrial-strength type]”. GF and checkout girl then start and extended conversation about which product will be better, while gormless foreign BF (me) is left to wonder which is the least embarrassing rack of curios to pretend to feign interest in while I’m waiting.

I remember seeing lubricant from Durex in some (if not all) Watsons stores, as Kahna and finley said before.
