How do you fly to Vientiane from Taipei?

I have a business trip to make there. What is the most convenient way to fly there ? Seems the most obvious is through Bangkok but that’s pretty expensive (about 15K)

Hanoi’s airport is tiny, far out of the city and boring, a horrible place to transfer if you have to spend any time there.

I should also have mentioned how do I find affordable tickets. The best option seems to be through bkk

buy two round trip tickets…one to and from KL, and one from KL to laos…all via air asia…it should come out less than 15,000NT
