How easy to get a work permit?

I got a China Medical University, Taiwan scholarship for my Master’s degree. The scholarship cover only first year, the second year tuition fees are on my shoulders. I please I want to know if it’s allowed for international students to work part time, so that I can settle my second year tuition fees. Thank you for your time answers in advance

Your university international office should be able to handle it for you, it’s just processong paperwork

But someone told me University will only process your papers when your supervisor (professor) is in support of that. And must of supervisors do not let their students to work. So that is why I’m seeking clarification from those with experience

Yes , You need to submit a document signed by your supervisor that he allows you to work outside so chose your supervisor carefully
Other option is to work for the supervisor

Tell them you’ll transfer to a different university for the second year, or they can give you another scolarship
