Someone has asked me to tutor two children, 5 and 6 years old.
What would be the appropriate hourly rate?
The family lives quite close to where I live so commute time isn’t an issue either.
Would $1000 for two kids be reasonable?
I taught at a buxiban in Taizhong for a year, and tutored short term here and there.
I’ve never had private lessons for kids this young though. From the looks of it, it would be more like babysitting, but hey it’s good money.
Any advice would be appreciated!
