No it’s not. Canada is pretty much overshadowed by the US on the global stage in most aspects I can think of. Finance is one.
Like I said, this is not necessarily a bad thing. Seems like the US is going into another crisis every month.
I’m surprised by the push back on this. Most Canadians seem to agree and understand what I mean. I could say that Taiwan is pretty irrelevant even though in some aspects it punches above its weight for a tiny island. On paper, Taiwan does matter. But I’m not under the illusion that people around the world follow Taiwan closely even though I think they should more than ever with geopolitics.
I would say that is the major reason why. I’m not saying Canada doesn’t matter, the opposite in fact. On paper, Canada does matter. Which is why it’s interesting to me that Canada doesn’t seem to get much attention on the global stage. I would say the same thing for Taiwan, whats happening in Taiwan is quite important for the future of the Asian pacific and possible shift in superpowers.
I don’t know much about Canada either, but from what I do know, you should build a southern border wall to keep it safe!
There are a lot of rapists and murders living in the country next to you.
Yeah, I agree with @TT
You seem to be back tracking. I agree with most of what you’re saying now, but that’s not what you first said. It didn’t seem like it to me
