Yeh, sorry, “ignored” sounds a bit negative in hindsight. I just meant there was no response, and of course I don’t know what your private cogitations were.
You make a good point about not necessarily knowing a mechanic you trust. I tend to think its often more trouble than its worth getting people to do things for you, that attitude mostly formed by experience with (a) British Builders. and (b) some Taiwanese doctors. I don’t have much experience with Taiwanese mechanics.[/quote]
