How would you save Taiwan's economy?

700 000 foreign workers in Taiwan. 450 000(registered) unemployed Taiwanese working aged citizens. 90% of secondary students enroll in post-secondary education. Parents encourage offspring to live with them indefinitely. Creativity is commonly curtailed. Filial piety/Confucius thought leads to less calling out bullshiz.

To save it, I’d start with recognition of these things.

edit: Forgot to add. Parents pay for their children’s educations. Their expectations for their child’s future salary is unrealistically high.
