Anyone know what the opportunities for teaching English in Hualien or at least on the East Coast are like? Not planning anything at present just wondering about all the possibilities.
I have heard that finding work, at least in parts on the west, is difficult, and that’s for qualified American teachers. I’m doing a tiny bit of casual tutoring over the internet but since I’ve no formal training it’s challenging. The reason I ask about the east coast is because I spent a couple of nights there while on holiday a few months ago and thought it looked far more appealing than the west coast, though possibly not as convenient. Would make it harder to met up with friends but work’s better than no work right?
