Will be traveling to Hualien soon for a few days. I read in this forum that there is (or maybe used to be by this time) a nice Mexican restaurant call the Clubhouse. I will follow up on that one.
Other than that, any other pubs or hangouts in Hualien? Been there several times for the travel bit, but this time looks like we may actually have a weekend evening to go pubbing.

Mostly just bars or pubs, no real dance clubs. Try “Piano Bar” near train station after 11 or 12pm.
Try behind McDonalds about 3 blocks. There are about 6 clubs all within 2 minutes of each other. A couple have live bands. A sports club. A club with kareoke and dancing. But remember, it is small town, so nothing to exciting…
Enigma on the beach front near port is good in evenings… outside, live music, all ages…
The Ark, just a couple blocks down from Starbucks, has live Christian music if you interested…
Also, near train station, bowling, KTV, massage…
