I’m basically an album oriented listener. I want to be able to just select the folder, hit play and hear all the songs in the order they were intended.
(I preserve the track order data with ripping the CDs to mp3s)
This works well for file managers such as ES.
But when I go about multitasking I “lose” the music player app I have to search for the correct folder, select play and then stop.
Smart audiobook player works, but I’m not sure if it’s a good music player. Plus I’d like to keep my audiobooks and music separate
The other players like AIMP or VLC seem to want me to create lists.
They just seem too complicated for me and not intuitive.
So, please suggest the best Windows Media player like app that lets me click on the folder and play the complete CD.
I would also like the the ability to minimize it.
The media player included in ES just vanish and keeps playing.
I think mp3tag can batch create Playlists from folders, but I haven’t used anything except spotify for a while now. If it works, it would be a convenient solution to use whatever player you prefer.
You cnoukd go through those too see if one behaves like you’d like. One of them must act like MPC-HC
Poweramp for Android is an absolute beast - you can scrape tags, album art, and lyrics from the internet, it looks the business, and it’s fast af. It’s always one of the first apps I install on a new device.
OMG. I hit the folders button and all my CDs are right there.
Fantastic.
But there are two versions the trial and the paid.
Did you buy it? 149 seems like a fair price.
I also bought my smart audiobook player because I liked the features.
