"I *heart* Taiwan" t-shirt

Hey guys, this might sound like a bit of an odd request, but does anyone know of a store in Taipei where I can pick one of these up? I want to give it to someone as a gift, but I can’t say I’ve ever seen one of these before. Much thanks if anyone can help me out.

No, but we could tell you how to make one in batik.

Have you tried the Taiwan Handicraft market, near NTU hospital MRT station?

Taiwan Railways Souvenir store, first floor -main concourse- of the Taipei Main Station. Follow your nose to where they sell the famous “railway bientang” and there is a cute store on the corner with souvenirs and T-shirts.

Great, I’ll check it out, thank you.

There are a lot of stuff like that at the airport. I’ve seen a lot of them

The MRT souvenir shop below the railway station sells “I  Taipei” T-Shirts

What about a T-shirt from “Pie*say”? They make very cool Taiwan T-shirts and they will mail it to you. Check it out at http://www.piesay.com

The DPP probably still has a lot of the shirts it made up as part of its push for the UN referendum.

The shirts don’t have a red heart. But on the back they read:

我愛台灣愛我

That’s “wǒ ài Táiwān ài wǒ,” i.e., “I love Taiwan. Taiwan loves me.”

Close enough?

Love to have one of those t-shirts. If anyone can scoop it up pm me.

Giordano is now selling at least two types of “I heart Taiwan” T-shirts:
 台灣 [Wǒ ài Táiwān]
 寶島 [Wǒ ài bǎodǎo]

NT$499 each, or three for NT$799. (No, that doesn’t make sense to me either. But that’s what the guy working there told me.)
