I’m not working in Taiwan but I’d like to get an ARC card

I’d plan on it taking a couple of months (I don’t know the current target time), so if you apply several months ahead of when you intend to come you might lose a bit of validity but would be able to enter with an ARC.

I’m about three weeks out, but I’ll ask the TECO lady next week when I send her my fbi background docs.

Oh ok, I thought moving here was a longer term plan. That’s probably cutting it too short then, so I guess you’d have to do it in Taiwan.

the option gives you the card regardless of your past, current, and future employment/experience.

And I can apply from Taiwan. Hmm.
