ICRT for 2018/2019

Yeah I try to give him a pass sometimes if it’s related to a useful subject but still the core topic is frequently some bizarre adolescent subject. Like a 12 year old boy saw something on the internet at night and can’t wait to tell the other 12 years olds in the morning.

Kind of makes me wonder what he does with his free time and if it’s somehow filled with these kinds of subjects.

Today one of Scotty G’s chosen topics for 3 minutes was circumcision.

  • farting and passing gas
  • urinating
  • armpit hair
  • peeing in the shower
  • his penis frequently, calling it “little winky” or something
  • sniffing cat butts
  • feces and fecal matter
  • other ICRT personalities personal life or his concept of their personal life
  • anuses and colons
  • circumcision

I commonly listen to ICRT mornings and then tune out at 12:15 p.m. when they start the children’s English learning lunch show.

What children are listening to the radio at lunchtime? Aren’t they in school?

It’s probably good for taxi drivers and others at a lower English level so no reason to say it’s only for children.

Wow! I missed all this so far. Stevie G talks about this stuff??

He has the best music on ICRT from my limited view. The weekends music is complete garbage hour after hour of female vocalist rubbish just noise

“I’m becoming like my mom. I just hope I don’t get big on top” as in growing breasts. While conversing with a female.

What adult man has ever thought or said anything like that? Besides Stevie G? Maybe some fictional comedy figure in a movie but not in real life.

Funny stuff, I just tune-in mornings for the hilarious buffoonery :joy:

The schools play it to the kids during lunch break. I think it’s an MOE directive.

If you see a kid sing “News for kids, news for kids.” They’ll know.

So, i was listening to ICRT yesterday and they were on some kind of “future top 20”, which made me wonder what was that about…
Then, they started playing Chinese songs! Yes, as in Chinese Mandarin!
WTF, ICRT!
One of the few things that kept ICRT apart from the other stations (if not the only thing) is that it was an international station. With international music.
Now, they are playing local Mandarin music.
Yeah, ICRT is now just another one of the many stations in your dial… :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Must be trying some format changes because they recently started doing traffic, weather, and even air quality predictions.

Stevie G and the lady (forgot her name sorry) made it abundantly clear this morning that they are against drunk driving. Good on them for being such mavericks on this

Scotty said bikes should ride against traffic. That is wrong.

Walk against traffic direction, ride bike with traffic direction.

My buffer is over an hour behind. Still listening to morning show. Just don’t ask me to set my watch to the radio.

Sunday night chill, chill, chill, chill-icious 6-10pm.

Sweeeeet.

Kudeta from Bali Starts Now good Groove.

Are you paid to plug ICRT?

I always thought he was saying coup de grace. LOL.

He plays some good tunes. I listen to it while driving home from work.

I probably complain too much to get paid to plug them.

They give you free radio! :astonished:

ICRT is not free for me. I almost always use paid for data because 'm rarely near a radio except in the car where the connection never seems to be great. Especially in the mountains, east coast and smaller towns even on the West.
