Ideas for gifts from U.S. for Taiwan family

I’m going to be visiting Taiwan around New Year’s and was looking for ideas of gifts to bring my extended (lots and lots of extensions) family whom I haven’t seen in 15 years. Since this forum is good about helping people find hard-to-find things, do you have suggestions of relatively inexpensive U.S. items that can be brought over in quantities of 10-20 that will be greeted with respect or at least some pleasure, preferably things that are not so easy to come by in Taiwan? My relatives are mostly in Kaoshiung.

Thanks!

maybe sporty stuff like baseball caps, t-shirts (especially NY Yankees, hahaha).

Stuff representative of your hometown maybe?

I’ve brought candy and sweets for my coworkers before but it did not seem to go over too well.

board games like scrabble for those thirsty for english.

pop-up books for young kids

Trojan condoms and cheap butternut white bread. That’s top of my wish list, to be honest.

But for kids, might want to try some sort of sports toys. I’m thinking like baseball toy figures, NASCAR cars, something like that. I live in Changhua, so I don’t know if those are easy to find in Kaohsiung. Maybe someone here might tell you they’re everywhere down there. Just a thought.

Take it as humor try to avoid gifts that are label as Made In Taiwan.
