Can any Catholic familiar with Jesuit tradition explain the reasoning behind the crucifix used at sacred heart church? Most Catholic churches have simply a crucifix, but this one is different.

Current pope ruled that same sex unions may be blessed.
They have no stance against being homosexual except that while it’s against nature, as in not intended for nature, it happens because creation is already corrupted and we accept that it happens. I think this is the official Jesuit finding on this subject, though I am unsure where to find it.
But out of all the Catholic orders, Jesuit is probably the most open orders when it comes to homosexuality.

Pope’s ruling must be followed by all Catholic churches, unless they want to break away and no longer be Catholic (and I don’t think this is easy to do at all).

Catholicism is gaining converts fast in the U.S.
And I heard that most of the new converts are hard-core.
I think these people would infuse Catholicism with much-needed vigor. If there’s any religion with no impact on people’s lives…
