I just noticed that my deduction has been increased from 658 per month to 1,129. I called my employer and was told that premiums have increased for all teachers. Can someone else confirm this? If it hasn’t happened to others, I will need to go higher up than the person I spoke with.
Not heard that one before. I know the premiums are increasing, but its according to income, not by profession. And I don’t think its anywhere close to doubling, except for very high income earners.
Thanks. I will need to take this to a higher level. I went to the health insurance website and see a news release about the effective date of the recent increase which corresponds to the increase but the rate looks wrong. If I find out anything more, I’ll post the information.
