Inquiry about Research Participants (Asian-American Alzheimer's caregivers)

Hello everyone,

We are the Eun-Ok Im research team at the School of Nursing, University of Texas at Austin. Currently, Professor Eun-Ok Im of our School of Nursing is conducting research.:red_circle:Technology-based information and coaching/support program that is tailored for Asian American midlife women who are family caregivers of persons living with Alzheimer’s disease (PLAD):red_circle:.

The purpose of the study is to preliminary evaluate TACAD in improving health outcomes of Asian American midlife women who are family caregivers of persons living with Alzheimer’s disease (AACA) and their care recipients.

:white_check_mark:Participant: aged between 40 and 65, can read and write English, Mandarin Chinese, or Korean, and lives in the United States. The participant has access to the Internet, identifies as Chinese or Korean, and is a community-dwelling family caregiver of a person with Alzheimer’s Disease [PLAD] (clinical dementia rating greater than or equal to 1). The participant provides at least 4 hours per day (on average) assistance to PLAD.

:one:Participation will last for 3 months
:two:Participants will be randomly assigned to different groups: (1) use TACAD and the AA website or (2) use the Alzheimer’s Association (AA) website on AD and caregivers
:three:After participating in the entire program and completing three questionnaires, each student will receive $150.
