It’s sometimes done when a person can’t think of a response or has been roundly thrashed in an argument. He or she doesn’t want to look like an ass on the forums by posting the intellectual equivalent to “Yeah, well YOUR dad smells. So THERE!”
So they send it in a PM so that nobody else can see just what a stupid prick they really are.

I think wise people ask silly questions. Only dumb people ask serious questions. Wise people already know the answers, so they occupy themselves with life’s little grey areas instead.

Why don’t many foods begin with the letter E? There’s eggs, and thats about it.

Egg Plants are called Aubergines but Americans can’t spell that so they renamed them egg plants, which is a bit weird as I’ve never seen a purple egg.
