If you don’t have at least USD $500,000 sitting around, investment advisors probably aren’t going to be right for you. The fees they charge will eat up too much of your gains.
If you have plenty of money for investing, may be getting a good accountant is a better idea. Many investing advisers here are not reliable, believe it or not.
I was planning to do some investment here, but after I did quite a bit of research, I’ve changed my mind. Investing in the U.S. market will be much more reliable. At least they have better accounting auditing system. In Taiwan, you’ll never know that which company will go down overnight even they have great financial status on paper. Quite often, auditing accountants are cheating together with big companies. I hope you are getting the idea…
