Iraqis Smeared in Faeces, Sodomized By US Personnel
This leads me to believe that the soldiers who committed the horrible acts were intent on hiding the same.
1800 plus pictures and videos apparently remain to be released. It seems that if they were intent on hiding the same, they went about it the wrong way. Seems that it is not only Korea that has its fair share of US military morons. :unamused:

Yes, in addition to being sadistic they were incredibly stupid.
I’ve only encountered American GIs overseas in S. Korea. They’re absolutely fuckin repulsive there, and that’s just when they’re hanging out, not at war.
Is there really such thing as a military code of ethics?

:unamused:
The troops on the Korean DMZ will have less than 30 seconds to live after the first alert of a North Korean attack. Spend a a year tour in South Korea with unfriendly locals, hellish summers trampng up and down mountains and winters with subarctic temperatures. No cappuccino or fresh baked croissants in the bunkers there. Sorry they aren’t cool enough for you. Oh well, a generation ago alot of American men went to war and came home to be spit on by American women. Good to see some things don’t change. :raspberry:

Is that what made you so bitter, blue one?
Like you’ve said to me, this isn’t 1974. Get over it.

I thought it was because he lost in the only war he ever fought, Vietnam.

Is it true that French men prefer anal sex to vaginal sex? That’s what I’ve heard.

No. That’s the Greeks.

No. That’s the Greeks.
Well…I guess you’re the expert. More baklava anyone?

Bluey…Daaahling…I just knew you would say that! You are sooooo exciting. Do you sleep with your big stiff gunny wunny? Kiss Kiss macho man. :lovestruck: Eat my feta. :stuck_out_tongue:

No limit. My only restriction on liability is that those responsible must have ordered the abuse (specific acts) or known of the abuse (again, specific acts) but did nothing to stop the same.
… or should have known about the abuse.

But that we had such hope. The oleaginous lawyers will surely ease those higher up off any culpability charges. Written orders? What written orders?

They are shredding like mad in the Pentagon right now. Crooks, criminals all. Time to put the US under UN administration. It is obvious that the fanatics in Washingdad are incapable of doing it themselves. :smiling_imp:
US extends custody deaths probe

At least 37 people have died in US custody in Iraq and Afghanistan, Pentagon officials admitted on Friday.

Most of the cases took place in US detention centres.

In two cases, the US military said, captives had been shot as they lunged either for a weapon or a US soldier.

news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/3737787.stm
How convenient. How does one lunge for a weapon while wearing handcuffs or leg irons?
In another, an Iraqi drowned after he was forced off a bridge by a US soldier.

Other causes of death given include:

* multiple gunshot wounds with complications

* blunt force injuries and asphyxia

* blunt force injuries complicated by compromised respiration

* strangulation

* plumonary embolism due to blunt force injury to the legs
How are these forms of asphyxiation consistent with the handling of alleged POWs in captivity?
When the previous cases were announced two weeks ago, two were declared to have been homicide.

An Army official said a soldier had been convicted of using excessive force when he shot dead a prisoner who was throwing stones at him.

He was thrown out of the army but did not go to jail.
Obviously the reporting of such events is extremely biased, so here’s some good news from Iraq:
Czech field hospital opens in Southern Iraq

A Czech field hospital was officially inaugurated in Al-Basrah on 18 March with a ceremony attended by Czech Deputy Defense Minister Miroslav Kostelka and Chief of Staff General Pavel Stefka, CTK reported. The event, delayed due to problems in the transport of some equipment, was also attended by 30 Iraqi leaders from the region. The hospital is staffed by roughly 280 Czechs, who are expected to treat about 50 patients a day initially, with that figure gradually rising to 100. MS

As fred says… the system works. Now who remembers how many people were convicted for My Lai and how long they served?

No. That’s the Greeks.
The Greeks are, I beleive famous for homosexual anal sex… What I’m saying is that I have heard French women complain that French men, even when a vagina is available, prefer anal sex with a woman.
