Ironically I’m one of the very few on here who has some knowledge about microplastics I guess.
Most microplastics in water come from our clothes after they are washed. What we should do is not wear plastic clothes in the first place.

How does this work with regard to recycling plastics? I used to think “Yay, polyester clothes recycle plastics, that’s great!” But now I’m not so sure.
I imagine it just doesn’t help at all .
