Yeah, in the sense that it’s not about what’s outside, it’s what’s inside that matters.
No wonder you’re not getting much time behind the wheel. ![]()
On the contrary, good weather sealing is very important.

At least some things are objectively attractive in a larger sense, in that 100 people anywhere would agree on them more or less.
Other than smooth, blemishless skin, what would some examples be?
symmetry
Here’s a paper, though I gather from some of the other threads that some Foromusans struggle with evolutionary biology:

symmetry
I was going to mention that, but I was thinking more concrete features/qualities.
As an extreme, physical deformities, but there are many kinds of those and they would exist in a range, and I would guess there is probably some perfect ideal you could reach hypothetically. If I recall right a study was done once that claimed to do just that.

How about just normal features?
I’m not sure there is such a thing as a “normal feature”. If you have to restrict it to “normal features”, that’s pretty much exactly what I’m talking about. If we hypothetically just talk about people with “normal features”, then I’d agree there would be a lot of variance among preferences and maybe nothing that could be identified as an ideal, except locally.
Like @TT referenced, there are certain biological features such as symmetry that are proven to influence perceptions of physical attractiveness everywhere.
The relative attractiveness or non-attractiveness of other physical factors (body type, skin tone, etc.) can be influenced by culture, random personal preference, etc., as can non-physical factors (wealth, social status, etc.).
So maybe you encounter a person who would be considered average (or even just below average) in terms of the biological features but they appear really attractive to you because of other factors. And even if you’re below average in terms of biological features, chances are there’s always a subset of potential mates who will consider you attractive because of something else you have.
Getting back to the issue of East Asian guys in the West, I’m sure that plenty of Western women would rate handsome East Asian guys as physically attractive even if they wouldn’t actually consider them as suitable mates.
Women that locals rate as highly attractive, I usually find abhorrent. Conversely, the women I find attractive usually get much less interest
Admittedly thouogh, the local views on attractiveness are spot on. Buy anyways, if you are able to spread the love amongst all kinds, all the better for everybody.

Not enough tea in China to make me go out with a woman attractive by those standards. They literally make my skin crawl (both looks and personality wise). My loss is their gain?
Dating in New York as an asian guy is easy because of the women/male ratio. It’s hard mode on the west coast where there’s way too many guys. Most women will tell you the dating life in NY sucks, because of the male/women ratio. It’s mostly a numbers game in the end.
I think western girls tend to be “bigger” (height, slimness etc) and women instinctively want to date bigger guys to give them that protective feeling. Since asian guys are smaller in general, it leads to less matches. As an Asian guy I don’t feel attracted to most body types of western girls, so that rules out a lot of potential matches for me, and vice versa.
Ratio is just half the equation. Asian men have good reputations in NYC. NYC is the best for Asian men anywhere in the country.
DC also has significantly more women than men, yet Asian men don’t enjoy the same status.
One must understand one’s sexual market value to play the dating game. Everyone has around 15 years of prime sexual market depending on how one takes care of themselves.
Women peak at age 25 and bottom out after age 40. Men peak at age 40 and bottom out after 55.
Physical attractiveness, Social Status, and Money are all weighed upon as the ability to deliver fun. Dating is not difficult as long as one can lower one’s sexual market standard and accept imperfection. Dating without the intention of having children is all about excitement and fun. Whoever delivers the most fun and orgasm makes a great boyfriend / girl friend experience.
Children cost a lot of money and are the result of combining the best genetic traits from DNA of both genders. Both men and women are opportunistic when looking for marriage materials and wish to marry up their social status in terms of looks and wealth. There’s nor perfect mate. Just lots of good ones and bad ones. Choose wisely , bite the bullet and never look back.
My god, man. How can you watch that crap?
