Is it true you can recycle bottles at 7-11 and get store credit?

I read it on a blog post and am wondering if it is true.

I understand I can give the bottles away easily or take them to the recycling truck. I am just curious and would like to know if what I read on the blog is true or not.

At least there seems to be a deposit of 2NT on Taiwan Beer glass bottles, according to the box packaging I saw in Costco the other day. But yeah, details would be nice to know
