Is the DMV on Bade open today?

Hi
I heard that they aren’t open on the weekends…that true?
And, if you sell your car, do you HAVE to change the license plates, or can you just transfer the name?

Monday to Friday only. Not sure about the plate, but you do have to transfer the registration and have a new certificate of ownership issued, what we normally think of as a “pink slip”.
