Hey there everyone, I live in Hsinchu county and I’m opening a LLC in New Taipei City. Is this going to be an issue? I mean, I the director and sole shareholder living in Hsinchu county while the company address is in New Taipei City.

The country of Taiwan let’s you do whatever you want wherever you want. Just register your company where it is actually doing business. This isn’t the household registration program, it is the economy. Taiwan is a free and clear country, in terms of economics. As is anything to do. You can change all your company info for 1000nt online yourself if you need to (or pay someone more to help you do it, but that is the base cost). The government here actually wants you to make money…thus they can make money by taxing you. Just do it legally. Townships, county’s etc. Mean nothing so long as your place of business is registered. My company has operations literally nation wide. our paperwork shows it, properly. Easy as anything. Despite being more paperwork. It’s not a worry at all.
