Is there much of a Japanese community in Taiwan? What about in Gaoxiong?
I’m also wondering about Japanese restaurants - is it hard to find a good restaurant, with Japanese chefs in Gaoxiong?
Quite a few live in Tienmu in Taipei.
Lin Sen North Road, Taipei.
That’s another kind of “community” 
Tons of Japanese in Taiwan. Although there isn’t really a particular community, like Japan town or anything. They’re kinda spread out.
A lot ot them do hang out in the Shida area in Taipei tho.
