Java games in English for my mobile ... not obvious to find

Got myself the new Motorola Ming (a1200) including 1 stupid boarding game is included, and to kill time, i want other Java based games

Aside Emome, sponsored by Chungwa, whichprovides only Chines text games, I haveno clue where I can download other games which support CHUNGHWA as provider (impossible to download from US or European sites as the 886 country code is unavailable) How do you guys handle that

Or is there an English emome version available?
Guess I do not expect many replies, but if someone got the golden goos, let me know ok?

Cheers :notworthy:

Well, I’m not sure about your particular model (I know Motorola have never been good at allowing you to download files from your computer to your phone), but I recently downloaded a couple of freebies (legally) to my computer and then to my phone (A Sony Ericsson). Fairly basic games, but good enough for me. Soduku, for example.

In fact, it is easy to download Java games through the mobile, they work well… but If you can not read chinese… your are in deep “you know what”

Mostly if you doewnload java games, it is difficult or rather impossible to transfer them to the mobile yes?
Anyway, can you give me the link to the site, and did you had to install the total Sun java application for this?

TX! :s

No need to install Java if your phone is already Java compatible.

On my phone, once I have downloaded a game from internet to my computer, getting it to my phone is a piece of cake. I believe I can move it there using either infrared or bluetooth.

I know cos I used to work for Motorola that they have a nasty habit of disabling any sort of file transfer like this, so they win more favour with the networks (having to download the game straight to the phone makes them money, so they’re more likely to push for their users to use Motorolas).

Anyway… a link… a link… try here

Irishtu, THANKS mate… got some Strike Fighter game on the mob already.
*.jar extension downloaded , send by bluetooth and it rocks . Solutioned. Thanks again!

Cool. Glad to be of service.

(Guess Motorola have finally listened to the complaints too.)

The only new issue… This Ming is a “smartphone”… without buttons, but with soft touch screen as a PDA, so …no control possible for shoot em ups or what so ever.
Not reccomendable to buy if cellphone gaming is one of your favorite time-killers on the MRT :frowning:

If your phone is a true “smartphone” you could try www.smartphone2000.com is another site.

Thanks for the tip cdnmagic… there goes my needed hours of sleep
For those who consider buying the new Motorola A1200 ming, it is the best mob I head so far and this is nr 12…

You even do not have to read your SMS anymore… the mobile speaks. Awesome mobile which will replace the V3 razers’s success in the past I guess.
