I heard that this Saturday, October 19th, there will be live music all afternoon and into the evening at 勤美 (Qin Mei, or Cheen Mei) department store. Vendors there too, selling I don’t know what. But it’s a chance to see some live music. Another source told me that the event will last a full week. Worth checking out on Saturday, at least, to see some bands. I don’t have verification of this event, but the native teachers at my buxiban told me about it. So it’s very likely happening unless I mixed up some details.
Yep. It’s legit. Awesome Jazz festival that lasts all through next Saturday. Many vendors, good music, and people-watching. Recommended.
