Maybe he should have because maybe he’s guilty and he needs to be investigated and this might help people finally take this seriously.
Instead of the stupid argument that he should not have done the interview because of optics. This guy could be guilty and it’s taking the Brits a long time to let that sink in.
There’s a BBC panorama report and more docs coming out , those are the rumours…
NEW YORK (AP) — A woman who says she suffered lasting damage from sexual abuse by Jeffrey Epstein when she was 17 years old sued his estate on Thursday, joining other women who are speaking publicly about pain they have long confronted largely alone.
According to Shaun Attwood on YT, there is a video of ‘important people’ with underage girls. This video is now in Russia. Someone he knows has seen some of the footage.
He mentioned a detective in the US doing a runner there as there was a suspicious death with someone attached to the investigation. He passed on the evidence to him. He got out before he had an accident. it seems.
Paedophilia is the most covered crimes of all. I feel even if a murder is found out he is more likely to ‘reason’ or ‘try to justify’ his crime by whatever motive he can pin to. But when a sexual act is involved with children it is the scum of the Earth hell bound don’t deserve to even be alive human being. So that’s is covered and protected above all. By the statistics numbers we all most likely know someone who is abusing a child or a child that is being abused. It is in our families, the church, schools, it is everywhere. And yet it is the crime that won’t come out to light. Based on that I think these monsters should have the worse punishment ever, but instead they get protection. See the church attitude when there are paedophilia cases? See the mothers attitude when a child complain the uncle was inappropriate in that family barbecue? See the teacher reaction when the child is clearly exhibiting drawings that incite there is certain abuse sexually related with the father? Why is everyone afraid of exposing them? Why doesn’t anyone believe the victims? Even when the victim try to express? For children it is extremely difficult to express and they do in very subtle ways. Most likely one would need to be trained to see through the signs, but we are also humans with instincts. Mothers for example definitely know when a child is being abused by her husband, but why do many choose not to say a word? Anyways, just steaming off here. Maybe I should start a thread in this topic. …
I was talking the other day about this with Taiwanese friends and they said this doesn’t exist in Taiwan…
When I talk about this in the west, they say they dont know anyone who could come off as being a paedophile, and these cases are one offs on the news. When in reality once these cases reach the media you can see that the people closest to them had no clue or couldn’t validate the clues they had.
The worse the crime the more people want to disbelieve it could happen. This is why every culture has some monster like a werewolf. People in small communities, villages, tribes could not bring themselves to accept that one of their own was committing horrific acts so they invented a fictional beast who became the culprit.
Paedophilia is a little different because it is, as you say, more taboo than murder and paedophiles, and sexual abusers in general, protect each other because they don’t care that they are doing anything wrong. This makes it even harder to deal with. Denial is combined with complicity. Look at conviction rates for murder compared with sexual assault.
You are completed right, it is more taboo than anything else. Then again it makes it even worse because mom prefers to protect her face than accept her husband is abusing their daughter and so on. Denial is definitely compliance!
I don’t think it’s about saving face. For me it’s impossible for people to accept that someone they love could be a monster. What is particularly awful is when the monster is exposed people make excuses for their actions. Victims are disbelieved or the abuse is put down as a one-off aberration.
Really? How is it that rule of law and facts keep exonerating her? Nobody likes to admit when they’ve been conned so I guess it’s easier to hold onto the illusion.
