I wonder why it hijacked forumosa in both cases and to the same address. I assume the hijacking isn’t totally random. That’s the only reason I think it must have come from here. I don’t know if it was from the site or a link on the site, I’m just guessing.

I wondered whether the sites were getting accidentally confused. But I checked out the bare IP address (the string of numbers) for that other site and it was completely different from Forumosa. Odd, though, that the site we were directed to didn’t actually work. I would have thought that if someone was maliciously redirecting it they’d have sent us to some kind of functioning site.
