Who is going to see Joker 2?

I thought the first one was overrated. The sequel is unlikely to be better.

Yeah, I read some bad reviews. I got my ticket for this saturday
I don’t like Batman, but pickings were thin so I randomly clicked on the joker a few months ago. My low expectations were blown out of the water. I thought it was brilliant. I only figured out it was Joaquin Pheonix about three quarters way through.
I watched blade runner 2049 recently too. I remember it getting terrible reviews at the time, and didn’t watch it on purpose as I didn’t want to spoil the original in my mind. Anyway watched it recently to my great surprise it totally kicked ass, what a movie. So hopefully the Joker follow up is like that.

I liked joker. Didnt like blade runner 2049, no susbstance to it.
Not sure if im gonna see joker 2. Lady gaga is a big turn off for me. Have to wait and see if the gf wants to see it.

It’s still on my to watch list, I should really find time to fit it in someplace between watching X-Files and Red dwarf.
I’ve heard some pretty terrible things about the sequel but I also really loved joker. I saw it in theaters on release day
Oh no… I can’t stand her. If she was standing next to the movie I wouldn’t be inclined to watch it, let alone actually being in it.
It seemed a bit too rational for me. All the dots were crossed and all the eyes were teed.
As dark DC goes tho, it was great. Shooting Mur-RAY in the face was great.

I really liked the first one, actually saw it in the theater and wasn’t disappointed. Not in a rush to see this one
I loved the Tim Burton and Christopher Nolan films, basically none of the others or the spinoffs. I didnt see everything, there was a Gotham show I didn’t see at all. If the Colin Farrell Penguin show gets good reviews I’ll watch it. Talk about unrecognizable!

I liked that one, have seen more than once, was a good sequel to a great film. Denis Villanueve has a great track record

I’m watching the colin Farrell show. It’s good but not great. I need some time to digest it a bit. I guess watching it next to gangs of London is a mistake because that show is just brilliant and this one pales a bit in comparison

I dont like the Colin Farrell´s Penguin. It doesnt seem to be accurate to the comics. So far, Devito is still the best performance.
He was pretty perfect physically.

Watched Joker 2 last weekend. Not a good movie. the plot contradicts the continuity of the previous movie. Joker persona is the escape Arthur needed to obtain freedom and self respect. But in this movie happened the opposite, when the audience expects Joker is going to take control, it dissapoints. And about Harley Quinn, that´s not Harley Quinn. Lady gaga plays herself the whole movie.

I saw Joker on a flight and surprisingly I thought it was pretty good (it was just about the only movie I thought I might like). I doubt I’ll watch the sequel, though, since I have zero interest in watching a comic book universe unfold on my dime and surely this character is, on some storyboard somewhere, designed to interact with a “reimagined” Batman in a, and I have trouble even typing this word anymore, blockbuster.
