I signed a contract and have been working for the past 2 weeks. The system is terrible (10year old kids with 40 year old adults in the same class despite age and English level, for example). My work permit should be ready very soon, but I have no ARC, and must leave the country, since I arrived on a landing visa. I planned to get a 60 day visa at a TECO office after the work permit is issused, but want to apply to a different school and get a work permit and ARC fom the new school.
The contract I signed stated that early termination could result in a 50,000NT fine.
Could I quit the original school and get a work permit via the new school with out complications?
