Compared to how fast things change in the west, Taiwan moves so fast that time in Taiwan moves like dog years. 1 year in Taiwan equals 7 years back home. So if this store was around in the early 1970s, that’s about 30 years.
30 x 7 = 210 years
There aren’t many businesses or stores still in the same place back home after 2 centuries. So it’s very, very, very unlikely this place in Kaohsiung is still around, either.
