I just arrived in taiwan from Canada and looking for where i can kayak, I tried to find infer but not a lot out there, and most of the websites in mandarin, Anyone know where i can rent equipment or what beach offers kayaking events or rentals.

do you white water?
i can’t find second had boats here so I’m gonna make a hydrospeed and find some rivers

I do yes, but sometimes just like to chill and go kayaking in smooth water and enjoy the sights!

Does anyone knows where it is possible to rent a kayak for a few hours work-out?
I am kayaking a lot in Europe (mainly surfski and flat water marathon), so I am not looking for guided tours, just for training few hours during business trips…
Hope anyone can recommend a place/person in Taipei area!

Kayaking is not good in Taiwan, especially Taipei. I have seen kayaks for rent around Dazhi bridge (google 25.075681, 121.543938) but only in the summer. They might not be available now.
there’s a kayaking coach that does tours in the North coast (including a river tour) and Hualian in the summer.
