Koreans say Taiwan is clean, according to these two sources

Why should we care if some random Koreans think Taiwan is clean or dirty?

Yup we know Taiwan air is EXTREMELY clean.

Taiwan always cares what Koreans think. They use Korea as a basis of comparison for everything.

Do you mean North Korea?

S Korea has come a very very long ways. When i went to SK a few times in 1980 (yes that long ago) Seoul was not as advanced as Taipei was then. Fast track to today and I hear (havent been in this century) that its mega advanced. Subways and all.
When I was in SK, there was the nightly curfew and there was no subway.

Actually i should mount an expedition to all the places in Asia i used to go when dinosaurs last walked the earth.

I reckon you would barely recognise most places, the change is mind blowing.

I just went to Seoul. I didn’t find it to be mind-blowingly advanced. They have sidewalks which is a win, but all together it’s rather boring. What’s there to see or do besides shopping and eating?

It gives Taiwan face, and therefore all Taiwanese gain face by proxy.

I wish I was joking…

I mean the AIR is much cleaner in Taiwan than in South Korea because Korea is much closer to northern China so the pollutants blow over all the time.

Well they certainly wash them. At least their brains.

I was meaning… Sweeping them out of existence. Not necessarily very clean afterwards, ask in the afterlife to Chairman Kim’s uncle

Exactly. Taiwan is clean. Taiwan is dirty. Both statements are correct.

Some people even think the air here is ok. Perspective.

Either way, loads of room for improvement and healthier living.

Well, maybe she needs to try open her eyes.

Well, not if it’s raining. The stinging/burning isn’t comfortable

Cmon Taiwanese people, worry about yourselves, goodness gracious.
