Apparently it’s a slippery slope and dating a 19 year old is no different to dating a 17 year old or even a 15 year old. There’s a chance that @Gain has misunderstood age of consent laws as meaning that he needs to consent, irrespective of what those involved think.
So did Johnny Depp, Harvey Weinstein, Matt Lauer, Charlie Rose. All got cancelled.

I wonder how all of you would react if your daughter tells you she’s dating someone as old as or older than you.
My 25 year old niece is dating a 40 year old. I don’t have a problem with it. My wife’s 13 years younger than me.

I’m giving him an scenario he can understand so that he can then address the important points/questions I posted: should people cancel other people who commit things they find “creepy” or “wrong”? or should people follow some standards for doing this, like an official list of things that are not kosher even if legal? who defines that list?

The age gap between DiCaprio and his prospective girlfriends is nearly 30, not 15.
If it was Leonardo Dicaprio, I’d say great. Her marriage prospects when they break up in 5 years will be fine. If he’s not going to settle down, kind of a kindness to let them go early, maybe even difficult for him some times, who knows?
But then, I would like to think I would raise my daughter the way I was raised. I wasn’t coddled my entire life, so I was an adult when I was 19 (not just legally)
