Lesbian in Taiwan : T and P (split from Lesbian Hang-outs)

Are you a T or a P? This is important.

How is it important?

I don’t consider myself as a T cause I don’t dress nor do I like the prepubescent boyish look of the Taiwanese T’s. I have shoulder length hair, styled in a kinda girly way, but I’m not an extreme P. I am attracted to P’s, however. So there. How does that help?

It helps because it reveals that you’ll find it difficult to hook up. Just ask Battery 9. There is a VERY strict hierarchy in the lesbian community. Ts go with Ps. Exclusively. If you’re a P, you’ll be considered a godless deviant if you go for other Ps. Simply NOT done at all.

Or you could try being a radical trend setter, change the face of lesbian love in Taiwan, in a blaze of purple glory!

And sleep alone!!

A “T” is…?
A “P” is…?

Just want to know, like, curious mind and all.
don’t know if this helps but the pride parade will be held at the end of this month and you can definitely make friends, snoop for info, join groups (a lot of different ones) and mingle with single Ps there…

(and there are mostly handsome men replying in this forum and might not know the answer…)
Yeah, obviously, most of this is just what we hear from our friends who come from Lesbania.
One’s bound to run across somebody who isn’t locked into the stereotypes, although it might take time.
Be of good cheer, after all, even Snadman ended up finding a (delightful and lovely) wife.

Talk to her, you’d never even know she was blind.

T stands for tomboy. The uniform is Doc Martens, baggy camo trousers, short hair. They often bind their breasts to look more “manly.”
P stands for pao (wife) or maybe princess. The uniform is less strict, but must be girlish and feminine.

Honestly, Battery 9 has given many treatises on the subject, lacking only in the area of explicit close-up photographs. Do try to pay a bit more attention, Wookie. We’re not doing this for the good of our health, you know!

Doesn’t ‘P’ stand for ‘po’ as in ‘lao-po’ or wife?

Dunderheids! I am beset on all sides by DUNDERHEIDS!

Jeesh they’re behind the times in Taiwan. Do the gay guys still have their keys hanging out on a certain side of their trousers?

How do you say carpet?

Well, I’m not really looking to hook up… yet. Just wanna get to know the community. Hang out in places where they usually hang. If I do meet someone who I find a connection with, then that’ll be an unexpected bonus, won’t it?

Although, yes I do see your point, Sandman, of most pairings being of a T and a P. But once in a blue moon I do come across two P looking girls hand holding while strolling, though perhaps they’re merely bosom buddies.

So, the question of the thread was never answered. Are there any notable places to hang out for lesbians? And are they even mildly tolerant of newcomers? I’d be content to initially just sit at a corner booth and observe and gauge the scene.

Um, Chief. I know that you are not willingly infringing on my trade dress rights, but please note that I joined this forum several months before you did. As such, I hold all rights to the role and title of:

Boisterous Middle Aged Man with a Slightly Creepy Lesbian Fetish

So I’m afraid you’ll have to stick to making unsettling remarks to some other poster group. I suggest Furries. Or Bears.

Bushwah, junior.
You lost all tenure when you absquatulated from your designated Representative Field Office down south and decided to horn in on my well-established domination of the Metro Taipei region.
You’re back to a Novice ranking, pal, welcome to MY junkyard!

ETA: Anyways, I would never be so unthinking and selfish to confine my “Slightly Creepy Fetish” to Lesbians. I enthusiastically include Ladies of all types, not just them what’s come from Beirut, that would be stupid…

You need a satellite dish.

For reference.

I quite often suspect that I have seen lesbians on the MRT in particular these so called P&t’s
However, how can one tell if they are genuine lesbians or just girls holding hands etc I mean isn’t that a girlie thing to do , being tactile and all that?
I was sitting opposite this dykey (if that offensive not intended to be) looking female with this very pretty looking girlie both holding hands. The pretty one started looking at me and smiling, giggling etc . When this happened the dykey one started getting angry with her and dragged her off. Oh and by the way I am a middle aged western male lol. Do you suspect they were p&t’s or just playing at it. :ponder:?
