Line app question on blocking

Here’s a nitpicky little question:

  1. I block someone in my friends list
  2. he sends me a message while blocked
  3. I unblock him later (there’s a reason, trust me)

Do I get the message he sent to me while he was blocked, or does it just disappear forever (except maybe in an NSA database)?

No idea. Do an experiment with someone you you trust. Block him/her, ask him/her to send a message, and then unblock.

No, I know this because a student was sending me messages while she was not on my accepted contact list. I didn’t get them, and she got pissed that I wasn’t replying. I then took her off the block and nothing came in. Her LINE did not show that I read them after either. All future messages went through.

That’s exactly what occurred to me after posting this, HWW. I appreciate your spirit of empiricism. And Dan2006, that experiment agreed with your experience.

I believe the blocking is silent. No notifications are given if you block someone.

Check the blocking rules again. I believe that I read, in the help file explaining blocking that the person is not automatically restored after the block was removed. I think you have to re-invite him.
