My LINE app last couple of months doesn’t really work when I’m on wi-fi. Doesn’t matter where I am or whatever network.
Try to send and receive messages. Nothing moves. Turn off Wi-Fi no worries no problems

I suggest keeping WiFi turned off. Unless you want to receive fewer line messages, then turn WiFi on.
But @tango42 might be afraid of missing out on all those local young girls trying to punt/push stocks.
If it’s Android, there are settings that don’t allow certain apps to work on Wifi, though more often people disallow apps to use mobile data. You may have accidentally clicked something. iPhone, maybe also has something similar. Whichever, I would search for how to prevent an app from using wifi, and if the setting is on, turn it off, deselect, or whatever.
Using Samsung S22.
Data works fine, but if turn on wifi then line stops working. Example: Wifi off send line message, not problem. Wifi on send line message will not go. Just bounces back after couple minutes with the little circular arrow that suggests try to send again.
If wifi is on then I don’t receive messages until I turn off wifi.
Might be a setting somewhere and still haven’t found solution but keep trying different settings, etc.
Really strange.
Does anyone use Line App on computer?
Wondering if any negatives before I install on computer.
Are you using a Mac or PC? I had it on my Mac for the longest time until about a month ago. Apparently, Line App is no longer compatible with a Mac. No problem with a PC.
need to download it from the app store, I use it everyday on mac, works well.
PC in this case
It tells me I need to have MacOS12 or higher in order to download it. I have the MacOS Catalina.
well, need to update the system then, that’s an obsolescent system now.
I use it on my desktop and laptop all the time. You can only log into one PC/Laptop at a time but you can use phone with one pc at a time
